The story of ScandiMate
2015
The idea originated on a construction site in Sydney
Alexander, the founder of ScandiMate, worked both in Labour Hire and later as a sole trader (ABN), with the idea for ScandiMate originating on a construction site.
2018
ScandiMate is officially founded
In August, ScandiMate ApS was established, and the search for the first partner commenced, poised to benefit from Danish quality tradesmen who were eager to come to Australia and experience both the culture and the working life.
2019
The first two craftsmen are ready for the adventure of their lives
The first two tradesmen have been found and are ready for the adventure of their lives. On January 19th, they will depart from Copenhagen Airport to Sydney – marking the beginning of an exciting journey!
2022
We survived, and now we're getting the year we were supposed to have in 2020!

During this time, we have noticed a significant increase in interest from the tradesmen who are eager to embark on these journeys. Additionally, our partner companies have expressed their desire for us to ramp up recruitment efforts, if possible.

Dragons' Den & investment
In the beginning of 2023, ScandiMate appears on the Danish version of “Dragons Den/Shark Tank”, where we are showcased on nationwide television. Ultimately, we secure an investment from the most capable investors to take ScandiMate to the next level.
